Another one you could try @shiney is bathing your foot in a solution of Epsom Salts a few times a day, and then dabbing dry.

I had a mashed big toe that turned into badly ingrown toe nail, and it bled and wept for month after month. Being a man, I kept putting off going to see the doc, and then someone suggested Epsom salts - - sorted, all infection gone within a month :dbgrtmb:

I'm an expert at knocking lumps off myself - my problem is going to the doctors to get checked over.

@fat controller , thanks :blue thumb:. I'm doing the equivalent of patch testing. Different remedies on different parts of the foot. :)

One of the most important things is not to rub at all - dab dry or air dry. Probably a good idea to sit barefoot with your feet up whenever you can too, fresh air can be a great healer.

Thanks :blue thumb: Already thought of it (we keep a stock of Manuka) but a bit awkward under the foot.

            Already doing it :)

We never wear shoes, or socks, in the house and I have feet up whenever possible. :blue thumb: Nobody is allowed shoes in the house except on medical grounds. All our visitors and Mrs Shiney's patients are used to it.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Keep 'em coming. :dbgrtmb:

Are you wearing new boots? Used to happen to me with school shoes as a kid. Sounds like same thing that was inflicted on me and it onoy went away when I stopped wearing the particular shoesies.
I recommend beer, witch hazel, air and a couple of days without walking on it!

Beer is always recommended, just to back myself up.

I think it was started by working in my old wellies for 12-14 hours a day for three or four consecutive days.

Is that topical or internal :heehee:

Well, its internal, until suddenly its spilled and becomes very topical.

Go wash those wellies by the way, could be a badness about them.

Morning all, hope you are well.

@shiney I am sure Mrs S will get your foot sorted soon enough.

I could do with the weekend off, but I promised to cover my colleague tomorrow, hey ho.

                Have a great day.
