    Morning everyone,

Not very bright looking out there this morning. Don't think I am going to take my new toy out if it is going to rain. I did take it out lunchtime yesterday and walked Amber a fair way with it. Thankfully, it has a tortoise and hare adjustment on it so until she gets used to keeping away from the wheels I am taking it fairly slowly. But it is nice to be able to take her further for her walks.

Shiney, hope you get some improvement in your feet.

WOO, you are a busy bird at the moment, good luck with your tile laying, not an easy job!

Loli, Hope mum is feeling much better now.

Steve. glutton for punishment or will you get a Saturday in lieu?

Have a good day all, God bless. :wub2:

      Aloha everyone,

Moyra, it's just one foot, so I suppose I could hop everywhere :heehee:. It's feeling a bit better this morning :blue thumb:. What's the top speed of your scooter? Barry's one can do five miles an hour.
Rain isn't expected until mid to late afternoon but can be very heavy.

Woo, you're only moaning because we're not talking about claws and feathers :roflol:

I spent hours yesterday working on sending out the publicity and have lots more to go. I'm having to trawl through lots of club websites to find the right contact address to send the publicity to. I'm working on every club in Essex and Hertfordshire. Yesterday I worked my way through everyone who had entered the tournament in the last ten years. :phew:

Ah well! It makes a change from all the other paperwork I get to do. :) I've been looking at a possible unfair dismissal claim but am not sure that the complainant is telling the truth! Even if they're not they don't seem to have been treated very well . I've moved them on to the CAB for now. They may get more of the story.

      Have a great day

      Aloha!

      Steve...hope you're OK now,don't be overdoing it though:thumbsup:

This evening I'm going to a Wedding celebration,it's quite a lavish affair which means getting dolled up like a ham salad:rolleyespink:.The venue is a lovely place,I used to play golf there many moons ago,Hmmm wonder if I took my clubs,no best not eh:rolleyespink: besides you can't play golf in a frock:doh:

      Morning all,:spinning:
A bit overcast here today, might be taking it easy as recovering from traumatic day at hospital dentist yesterday.

Had a loose tooth (caused by previous extraction that went wrong) removed.
Had a 5p size biopsy taken off my tongue taken as well. Now have 7 stitches in all. Cannot swallow with it being painful.:cry3:

Now have to be on a liquid only diet for 2 weeks(and no alcohol), have made some nice milkshakes, today I made grape, papaya, fresh date, baobab powder and milk. :wow:

Just finished all the emailing. It only took another three hours!! :phew:

Next job is to go to a farm (two villages over) to bag and bring back a load of horse manure. I'll do that after lunch - and a shower. :heehee:

Morning all, hope you are well.

@moyra My colleague will do my Saturday next week, meaning I will get 2 Sats off in a row (it's his again the week after)

Looks like a rough weekend of weather ahead, still we can't really complain.

Football season starts again today with the Cobblers at home to Mansfield, I'll be there to cheer them on :yay:

              Have a great day

              Aloha everyone,

Well, it certainly rained yesterday. Some of our roads were closed due to flooding. I went over to the farm to dig some horse manure. Got four sacks and then the heavens opened :yikes:. We chucked the sacks and spade into the boot but couldn't drive off as we couldn't see the road because of the rain. It was too heavy for about 10 minutes and then we left. Half a mile down the road it was completely dry. It came back with a vengeance in the evening.

              Have a great day

              Aloha!
