    Morning everyone,

Just walked Amber and she wouldn't do what was required of her so she will have to cork it up until lunchtime. She was in no hurry it was me that was getting wet and not liking it.

Lili, sorry you OH has had another fall, no serious damage hopefully. Well done on the bottling.

Shiney, glad you foot is on the mend at last.

Loli, what's with the dancing all night?

WOO well done on finishing the floor and good luck with the work tops!

Have as good a day as you can weather permitting, God bless. :wub2:

      Hi Everyone again,

Just got back from taking an advantage of the rain easing off, we have certainly had some rain overnight and this morning. I was hoping it was going to dry up so I could get the scooter out for a run with Amber, maybe later.

I hope you are all getting some respite from the wind and rain.:wub2:

        Good morning everyone,

Well I did find an opening in the weather yesterday to get the scooter out and take Amber for a nice long walk, just got back and covered the scooter up and the heavens opened again so I was very lucky.

I hope today will be a better day, have a good one all, God bless. :wub2:

          Aloha everyone,

We went visiting relations in Kent yesterday and started off in very heavy rain and thunderstorms. By the time we got to our cousins the sun was shining. :blue thumb: We popped down to Dover for a very nice lunch and spent a lovely day in Kent. We didn't even have to show our passports at the border :heehee:

I have a busy morning and am playing a league match this afternoon. I think that I'll pick more beans ready for sale tomorrow, just in case the weather is too bad for picking in the morning.

Heavy rain forecast for this afternoon but it's gloriously sunny at the moment.

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

I have just managed to take blue out and Amber for a walk, I didn't go as far as yesterday as dark clouds were forming and still are. Still it was a longer walk than she would have had had I only taken her onto the green and back with the walker.

            Aloha everyone,

The moon was so bright that I went for a wander round the garden by moonlight at 3 a.m. :blue thumb:

Had a mega picking of beans yesterday and I'll bag them up later today ready for selling. I pickled some cucumbers yesterday so they should be ready in a week's time. So much time is taken up with picking at this time of year that a lot of gardening and tidying gets neglected. I'm doing about three hours per day picking/picking up runners, French, courgettes, blackberries, plums, rhubarb and apples.

I'm going to make myself a nice cuppa and read a book. :) See you later.

            Have a great day

            Aloha!

Hi, Woo, using as tile cutter is the usual way. :)

Enjoy today's sunshine and, if it rains, enjoy that too.

Top of the morning Shiney my friend,it is such a long time since I done any tiling, what I actually meant was ,now I am only going to say this once:heehee: I wasn't sure of the best thing to do as regards to which tile cutter to use,do I hire an electric water reticulated one or do I purchase one,or do I cut them using the old method ie(scoring and the tapping, enjoy your day and take care, Oh how is your foot has it improved at all:smile:

Hi Woo, It depends on how big and thick the tiles are but I would guess that something like this should be sufficient.

                    http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Wall+Floor-Tile-Cutter-300mm/p/514106

Thanks for asking about my foot :). It's still a nuisance (although a lot better than it was) and making things difficult for me, but I have an appointment with the senior practice nurse tomorrow afternoon. Apparently she's good with feet problems. I thought a practice nurse would be better than a doctor for this type of thing and reception agreed with me. :blue thumb: I would prefer to avoid steroid cream if possible.
