    Hi Everyone
I've been a dabbling gardener for many years - but in March I moved and acquired a large garden which had been untouched for 7 years. I had help to strim it all back, and found compost bins, dustbins, over 400 flowerpots.....and 3 beds with concrete paths round them. It is now a large "lawn" which takes over 2 hours to mow, 1 bed properly cleared, dug and covered with weed resistant fabric (which badgers now have fun shredding, grrrr) 1 bed awaiting fruit trees next year and 1 bed awaiting more decorative ground cover than weeds.
As a large amount of weedkiller has been involved, I have to be patient and restrain myself to planning for planting next spring, so I am looking for ideas and tips in these very interesting forums.
I went to Merriments today and managed to confine my purchases to a small bay tree - can't wait till Spring!!!

Hello again everyone, thank you for the lovely welcomes.
I did actually have the presence of mind to take "before" pictures while the garden was at its - hopefully - worst. BUT....can't get from camera to computer, so no chance of putting on here, sorry. I'm technophobe rather than technofile unfortunately.

                Never fear :)

There are a number of us here who are more than willing to work through the process with you to get photos posted if you wish, either via PM or even email. I am one of those who is willing to help, so if you do decide you want help, please feel free to get in touch by PM when you are ready. @ARMANDII is one of our resident camera experts, and I am sure that he will help you too (he has been a tremendous help to me on more than one occasion when it comes to camera stuff - but don't tell him I said so or I will end up buying the Jammie Dodgers for the GC office again )

Hi JJ, what camera do you have? Did you get it new? If so there should have been a USB cable supplied with it which you can connect the camera to the Computer......have you got one of those??:snork: I'm no expert just an amateur who likes to walk around with a camera in his hand and learning all the time, but let's see if we can help in anyway.:snork:
