            Don't leave it too long. Both Chile and Peru had very good train services but they have got fed up repairing them after the frequent earthquakes. :sad: They find it cheaper and easier to repair the roads.

              I would like to buy a bit of woodland nearby and build a log cabin there. Go there for little holidays etc. I have no idea how to go about this though, but I am saving up for it.

                    I just found these shots amongst my photos. It's of the train that's mentioned in your link that goes between Tacna and Arica.

                    This was at the Arica end and they seemed overjoyed to have gotten off the train! :heehee:
