Lest We Forget...

There's a new series, called Annihilation, starting tonight at 10 p.m. on the Yesterday channel.

To quote:

From their perspective, how could their countrymen suddenly take this lunatic seriously?

Intriguing historical details and Russian archive footage (released in the 1990's) help to make the story feel horribly fresh.

 

That's a bit of a sweeping statement! I've known a lot of soldiers that talked about the tragedies they've seen or experienced and a lot of civvies that were tighter than clams.

Also both who had been POW's in Germany, Burma and Vietnam as well as in the Concentration Camps. Some talk about it and some don't.

 

We are all unique ,each individual handle things differently,our perception is different and just sometimes we don't do what we believe in we just get on with it,and thank God we did
