Oh dear. This is awful. What an inconsiderate woman. How about videoing her and recording the music? Or leaving video on in the hope she tries to damage it and is caught in the act? Also, as somebody previously said, keeping a noise diary. Is it social housing or do you own it? I'm sure if it's social housing there are new laws to deal with this kind of thing? Why on earth would you wander around naked when there are children around - I have no truck with anybody wanting to do this on their own property and providing they are completely screened off but surely it must be indecent exposure of some type - if a man did this there would be uproar. Very good luck with getting it sorted. She sounds like a total fruit loop to be honest x

Yeah she is a fruit loop her husband has been known to do same but luckily not experienced this and they have 2 kids, we are both council tenants and have been to a mediation meeting in which were told to not speak to Eachother if she not prepared to work a friendship out, we have also been told we are not aload to record video or record noise and it breaches a privacy act ( can't tell you what it is) so we wrote a diary but it's not hard evidence :frown:

Despite forecast of grimness, it was sunnyish and mild so been out in the garden most of the day. Still cleaning up leaves - do they multiply under shrubs  Bought some ferns for the woodlandy bit so have put those in together with some wotsists (gawd, having a brainless moment! those tall spikey pinky/purple things that like woodland, arrgh). Also took out the fading cyclamen from the window boxes and replaced with some primulas which should keep that looking nice for a month or two. Dug over the raised beds and dug in some rotted manure. It's all go in the Fens ... now some well-earned beer.

Spent a beautiful couple of hours this week in my own garden. Pruned some climbing Roses, dug a border, planted some box (potbound) which I should have done about a year ago :mute:. Even managed to edge my lawn :)

Also we heard a loud creak a couple of weeks ago and after a bit of investigating realised that the cherry plum out the front was starting to split so reluctantly cut it down  Lucky we did though as the double trunk split as we did it and once down it was obvious it wasn't long of this earth. There was a rotten core running through the largest trunk from ground level to the first split at about 15 feet and the other two trunks were similar. Luckily planted another not 20 feet away over a year ago so all is not lost :blue thumb:

Cutting down the tree also coincided with me realising my neighbour directly opposite has a telegraph pole in her front garden

I take it you don't like your neighbour than Axl?

I've cut down my raspberry canes and pulled a couple out to give to family. Felt like I have finally got the gardening bug again  Struggled to get going this year. I need to fix the greenhouse tomorrow, now that my missing piece that went missing in a storm, has been retrieved.:phew: Might even consider sowing some seeds indoors.

No, no, I love my neighbour, she's a lovely dear :) I always had a nice tree to look at now I've got a telegraph pole. I'm going to buy her a silver birch for her birthday and offer to plant it for her

Sieved the girt pile of ash from the winter's bonfires, carried on digging Sis's bit of the plot over (she's not gonna do it as she's more mad than usual at the moment )

Cleared out one of the cold frames to re plant survivors like Parsley and Land Cress.

                Aww :)

You could get her a Strangler Fig for the telegraph pole :)

I have a telegraph pole in view from my front window and there is a regular woodpecker that visits for a climb and peck, so don't hide it too quickly! and Mr or Mrs owl sits on the top at dusk:). It's also a lovely spot for 2 very much in love Doves to cuddle up while they wait for me to put out some food. I love my telegraph pole. I've even had a song thrush sitting up there singing away.:yay:

That's a really good idea, it wouldn't look out of place in Wiltshire and if I could get it to thrive the engineers wouldn't have to use a cherry picker, just climb up it

I've got a telegraph pole in the middle of a flower bed which has two Clematis' growing up it. Down side is we've just been informed the electricity cables are going under ground in the near future and that probably means the pole will be taken out. I've got nowhere else to put the climbers so will have to buy or build and obelisk or frame for them.

I pottered outside for an hour today, clearing away dead foliage and some light pruning. Filled the bird bath yet again, blasted starlings! :)

I wonder if some sort of coarse mulch would discourage the moss etc? Bark or leaf mould? Sounds like a bit of a job to clear it away :catapult:

If you contact Environmental Health (tell the housing people you are doing so first), they will have a word with her and if it persists, they will either arrange to visit during one of the times the noise is happening or else they will install listening equipment (at least that's what they do round here).

Might be worth asking them to leave the pole? It would save them money having to take it out.
