Hi all! I inherited this plant with the house when we moved, and I have'nt a clue what it is. I'm hoping someone can help out so that I'll know how to look after it. It looking a bit 'squiffy' in the pot.......thinking of maybe repotting it, but not sure, if or when, to do it. Thanks in advance:)

You could cut it back now, but it will flower soon, it is dilemma time, do you prune now, and have a healthier looking plant with no flowers (or very few), or leave it, and prune it after flowering.

I would give it a prune now, and also give it a feed, with bonemeal/blood fish and bone, or similar, to perk it up a little, and you may even get some flowers later on in the year! If you have room, I would perhaps plant it in the garden.

    Hope this Helps!

Thanks for the advice......I'm a bit torn now.....I want to trim it back but hate the thought of losing the flowers this year......maybe a 'little' trim now? I don't think I've got anywhere in the garden to put it. I've just got a raised border around the lawn in the back garden.
I've just searched 'hebe' on the forum and read that it's quite easy to take cuttings, so I'm going to have a go!:)
