Lots of ground elder in all areas. It surrounds lovely established shrubs and is all under hedges creeping into garden. Oh dear!

    Hi

    You're 1st post

Lots have had or still have ground elder, it can take years to get rid off sorry to say.
You have to get every-root out , others will be on here soon to recommend things to do and use

Have a good snoop about the forum , enjoy.

Oh, been there with the ground elder. A pain to get rid of, definitely - but did you know you can eat it?!

Pick the young leaves, and steam them - a bit like spinach, but with a distinctive taste, that reminds you of the smell of - guess what - ground elder!! A good spring vegetable supplement, and there's something lovely about eating your nemesis!!

      A welcome to Gardeners Corner!!

Thanks, John. I'm enjoying browsing around and have already learnt that I can eat my despisised ground elder!
