Still alone-no sight of any masses. You are right about the weeds, but the way it is going it will soon be primary woodland. I am surprised as you no one will give it a go. Been there for six hours today and not seen a soul. Will post some photos after my next visit.

    Welcome Potlings

I assume that your allotments got flooded in the 13/14 winter, when we were totally flood, losing several villages to it... I live on the Somerset Levels and the flooding came within 1/2 mile of my house. I spent a lot of time during the floods helping those who weren't so lucky and lost their homes.. Over a year on, their are still some home owners yet to get back into their homes....

I'm just got my first allotment this year, out in the village near me.. Hard work, but a lovely and friendly bunch of people, and very encouraging, One was saying the first year is the hardest, and it gets easier with every year...

It was 2012/13 when our allotments were flooded, Ellie, and we took the two on in the late summer of 2013. Although we had a lot of rain 2013/14 we had no flooding. From memory 2012/13 was far wetter for us than 2013/14 which was not the case for you in Somerset!
