              Evening folks. My "planting for bees" theme seems to be working well. The garden was buzzing today (no pun intended!!) This plant really attracts them.

                Up until a few years ago I hadn't seen a Speckled Wood @wiseowl but more seem to be appearing here now which can't be a bad thing. :)

                    Rubbish day for bird watching as it was so windy. I went out early to see the White Winged Black Tern on the gravel pit lake but it had gone although I just managed to track another (distant) Cuckoo. They often sit with their wings hanging down.

                      Cuckoo's are really lazy birds aren't they Strongy? They not only farm their young out for other birds to rear, they slouch at rest too! :heehee:
