Go to your local Boots, Holland & Barratts or similar outlets and purchase some peppermint essential oils put the oil on a cotton pad and rub it around the frame where they are entering, they won't cross the line where you have put it. You can protect inside and outside of your framing to stop them. If you go to you tube and put in peppermint oil and ants you can have a good look at what they do when they come in contact with it..... its natural and cheap!

Went for a walk around Upton Heath just North of Poole, not a lot around but several Dartford Warbler families feeding. couldn't get close.

Female Emperor Dragons were laying again. The male never landed, just patrolled the pond and too fast for a pic.

Top one could be a Four-spotted Chaster
Bottom one could be a Black-tailed Skimmer

My local Boots is 200 miles away, by I'll see if I can find it in one of our pharmacies. Thank you - I was hoping there was a gentle way to persuade them to use a different nest exit for the flight!!
                  :ThankYou:

Hi Sian, I tend to get mine on line and it's cheaper again, it needs to be 100% essential oils. I suggested local as they must be driving you crazy :gaah:

I believe it is a lunar hornet moth. It belongs to the clearwing family. I've never seen one before. Great shot.
