    Good afternoon, WW'ers

Well now the decorations are all packed away in the loft and my sons have flown the nest the house is looking quite bare and sounding quite empty!
#1 son phones daily though (worried I might forget him if he doesn't give me a daily reminder, perhaps?) and #2 son is loathe to Skype daily because he doesn't want to "bore" me and thinks a weekly Skype will give him something to look forward to at the end of the week!
    Chalk and cheese :heehee:
Have moved the hen house onto the one piece of paved area at the end of the garden. It was going to house a shed, but, with all the rain we've had it was a wasted space and now the girls are drier under foot, less wind blown (sheltered by the fence) and happier. I, too, will be happier when they come back into lay and start earning their keep :heehee:

Healing vibes to all who need them and miles of smiles to all xxMxx :):):)

          Morning all,

Its a cold and frosty one here, we had snow squalls lastnight and calling for more later today.

I was down in Toronto yesterday and have to go back down tomorrow, should make for some interesting driving for sure!!

I am home today and finished running my errands, so I have some laundry in and finished vacuuming.

Off to fold some clothes....so enjoy your day everyone.

            Gooooood afternoon, Wakey-waker's :) :) :)

The sun smiled on us today (yay me!) and I've had the luxury of being undisturbed while I spend a lazy day doing crafts and research :heehee:

            I didn't ... but, I did say "Moo!" to a cow

                  Morning early people :)

First light of dawn here, noticed there was still a glimmer of daylight at twenty to 6 last night :)

One of the Volunteers at the Trust went to Canada over Christmas, brought back a newspaper with an article on the Trust in Dorset, one of the pictures was of the client's house that i'd worked on back in the summer, now what's the chances of that? :)

Have a good day everyone and don't say everything you think :)

                      Good Morning all,

Amber is waiting for her walk, it is slow in getting light in the mornings and it doesn't stir me on to get moving any faster. Have a good day all, take care, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.

                        Good Morning Folks,

Its snowing very hard here , it's starting to settle , I'm not a great fan of the snow. Anyway we've got it so I have to just get on with it! :blue thumb:

The hens are under one of their shelters looking rather confused! I will make them some scrambled egg before I go, that will help them through the day. I shall also give them some extra straw in the coop.

Kevin has gone to Peterborough today, he has a few days work there, if it's snowing this hard when he gets there he's not going to get much done, they are working outside setting up for an agricultural show. He's left his flask of coffee here, I hope there's a tea stand!

Best I get a wriggle on, have a good day everyone, keep warm, stay safe & if you are driving be careful. :grphg:

Hi Anthony, They eat their own eggs if there's a broken one! I give them some scrambled eggs for extra protein & to help them keep well in the cold weather. :)They get so excited when they see me with a plate of scrambled eggs mind you they are excited if they see me with a plate of off cut salad, maybe my hens are just greedy! :heehee: I can see your point about turning my girls into caninals, I most certainly wouldn't let them eat the eggs if I were to be in a fortunate position to have a cockerel & in turn have chicks but I'm not  so I don't mind them having some scrambled eggs now & then! :dbgrtmb: I know some people wouldn't agree with my thoughts but I think it's far worse to give them a chicken caucus to peck at & believe me I've seen someone do that....:gaah: That's not something I would ever do.
                            :)
