Evergreen are a Northern Ireland company who commenced trading as a small family business back in the 1950's, manufacturing baled peat for the grower market in Ireland and the UK.

Evergreen have successfully secured an enviable reputation for the supply of Top quality Irish Sphagnum Moss Peat to the home and export markets.

Today, Evergreen offers a comprehensive range of 100% peat based composts in various sizes suited for the professional grower,
the retail market and the hobby gardener. Evergreen uses Irish peat exclusively as the base line in all their composts and please note that Evergreen do not add in recycled materials to any of their composts.

Developments are in progress to add peat free alternatives to the Evergreen portfolio for those customers seeking ‘peat free’ alternatives.
Facilities

The latest technology in our modern factory complemented with superior quality raw materials, enables Evergreen to produce the finest quality composts at the most competitive price. Our facilities comprise:

• 800 m² of production area.
• 2 hectares of stock holding for bulk
• 4.5 hectares of stock holding for palletised stocks
• 200 m² office premises

Evergreen use state of the art equipment sourced from Netherlands, Denmark and Canada. There are computerised and fully automated production lines: Mixing lines for customised bulk, Professional grower mixes and pre packed composts. Evergreen work closely with the professional grower by supplying custom made substrates in bulk and bales.
Evergreen continues to invest in their product packaging to ensure that their products are fresh, modern and attractive.
