Not sure what it is but I have had the same this year. I just keep an eye on it and cut out affected leaves and stems and remove the affected...

Haven't shaded mine and it gets very hot indeed. Must do it soon! Peppers are doing fine but a bit slow this year for some reason.
Also a little sprinkle with table salt works a treat and quite rapid too.
