    Morning Everyone,

I have two plants to ID that I am in the process of accumulating.

The first one a friend across the road wants to give to me. He was told it was a Chinese bamboo and had pink flowers on it. I first thought it was a butterfly bush but then noticed the stems were bamboo like hollow stems.

The second plant I found lying on the pavement. Someone (I presume children) had pulled them out of someones garden further down the road. This plant had what looked like a small bulb or tuber at the bottom and I presume it's some sort of alluim as it stunk on onion. Potted it up, removed a lot of the growth to minimise stress and it seems to be ok at the moment.

Bulbs look like Iphion in one of its many colour forms.
