I've started already:doh:I've a couple of 'Red Cherry' on the go and another 4 waiting in the wings...it's more out of curiosity to see if i can succeed as i didn't think it was possible to grow toms 'out of season'...I do know of one GC member that grows them successfully and although way more experienced than i in Tom growing i had to give it a shot...I probably need help on the way:please::dbgrtmb:

If you only want to grow a few plants then go for a tried and trusted tasty tomato, Gardener's Delight will not let you down. Right now (till midnight 2nd Jan) there is a very good deal, 5 plug plants for £1.99 delivered (you choose the delivery date Mar-May 2014). That's cheaper than a packet of seeds plus you save the time and effort sowing etc:

                            http://www.brooksidenursery.co.uk/cherry-tomato-gardeners-delight-pack-of-5-plug-plants-131-p.asp

Thanks to @HarryS for spotting the free P&P. The caveat is no-one on GC has used this nursery before, so any feedback would be useful.
