75% off seeds at Tesco

Went to my local Tesco yesterday (Ryde, Isle of Wight) and they have 75% off of all seeds. As an example of the discount, I picked up some Unwins busy Lizzies price on the pack £1.99 price I paid at the till £0.49. All the seed packs were in a one box which you had to sort through instead of the usual display, I would imagine all Tescos are doing the same.

 

Looks like it as I bought 3 pkts each of basil & chives on Tuesday reduced from £1.49 to 37p each and they were in the seeds display stand located next to the vegetable aisles.

 

Had a look in our store and the sign said 75% off but just before that in ultra small lettering it said "up to", so not all seeds would have the full discount.

They didn't have much left at ours so didn't find anything I needed..

 

Noticed today that the almost empty box containing the last remnants of the 75% off seeds had been topped up to the brim again with loads more, great bundles in elastic bands, including some that weren't there at the beginning of the sell off. Must have been a delivery/clear out from a warehouse.
