        Hard to say which Cornus.
        If it is in Woking park the council will have a tree officer who should have a record of which one it is.
        That tree is mature/quite old.

        Its a beauty , its not one of the florida group they flower earlier without leaves on around May . They is quite a few different species of flowering dogwood trees but I think the most extensive / reliable in this country are the Cornus Kousa group from China / japan

          @Loofah we saw some at Wisley when we visited last weekend, might be worth a visit to check them out if you are interested in getting one for your new garden. They come in different sizes and colours, plus everything is well labelled there :)

          It looks like Cornus Kousa Satomi but which one I'm not sure of.
