I think we all know that LIFE can be utter *rap at the best of times.

It has helped me for a number of years to know that Family, Friends and Internet Buddies can be a source of comfort and support when we need it most. One has to remember that we are not as alone as we think.

It may be a hug from a cousin, the same from a friend, or a post on a forum such as this, still means the same. You have support and comfort when you need it most.

Don't make it any easier, but knowing that others can share your pain, will help to relieve it.

My thoughts are with those that are troubled at this time, and I will send some positive energy your way.

      steve

'M' thank you. Lots of us who have a bloody awful lot to put up with still have feeling for others who like us are in pain. I have had no less than 4 deaths in the family and friends in the last few weeks, a funeral next Wednesday, above my own problems which include a hiatus hernia for which I have been taking medication for several years. Apart from that I am disabled and diabetic but to forget my problems and consider others helps to know that I am not alone and I know poor FM has been having problems for a long time and he needs our support.
Val if you need support and understanding then talk to us. You will have our sympathies and we will listen to your problems but we cannot do that if we do not know.
In the meantime 'M' if you can let Nick know so many of us are feeling for him and perhaps we could support him better if he was here also telling us about his problems rather than trying to shoulder them all himself. We think the world of him and want to help! God bless Nick, take courage.

LOL! It's a medical term in ancient Greek, meaning hernia (of the stomach) into a hiatus - otherwise the space in the chest cavity. Simple when know! There must be many hundreds of such medical terms you've never heard of - how about intermittent claudication or necrotising fasciitis? :heehee:

I echo everyone's comments to FM. That's more than enough for one family to deal with. God bless'm.

I had FM in my mind today - especially as views of his garden often come up in the first page of GC,
hope he is well and his lovely lady too,
