I want to combine my workout routine with more fun quality time with wife and kids while also helping to motivate them to move more.

You can't go far wrong in this sense with that most epic of full body workout songs, Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

But you can't just do the same song and dance for half an hour or so.

    Any more?

Such a good idea! This song popped into my head straight away.. might be too oldy for lil ones though?

How old are the little ones and is there a specific genre you, mrs or little ones like?

A few pop (terrible) ones spring to mind.. Los Del Rio - Macarena, Anything by Black Lace, Taylor swift - shake it off, dj casper - cha cha slide, Wigfield - Saturday night?

I find the following Canto tune does it for me:

          Then go atatatatatata with Kenshiro:

Keeping it Japanese and high intensity:

          Staying with the eye theme:

          It's a battle of wills...

I think you might find this website of interest: Songs for Teaching: Movement
I'm not suggesting you buy them all (heaven forbid! :heehee:) but, it does give a 30 second or so sample of the music, plus lyrics. Might give you some inspiration at least.

Don't forget the usual party games action songs: Hokey Cokey; If you're happy and you know it; Wind the bobbin up, etc.

Yesterday the two lads and I had an 80s style 'burn out' to breakdance music. Something like this but with a somewhat lower degree of dance skill :)
