I Purchased And Planted A Rose This Year. i do not have a clue as to what type of Rose it is
other than it is Allegedly a climber. this is its first year and it is going MAD with flowers and buds. the rose is not like any other rose i have ever had. the Rose Grows in Tiers .
when it first started to bud the buds grew so low on the rose bush ,about 6 inches from the ground in very large clusters about 10-15 buds each cluster, which all flowered .
what is happening now the bush has a cluster of buds then a space of about 4 inches then another cluster with more buds increasing with every cluster:scratch:. it is also very strong
it is very straight/Erect, without support's. it is a small pink rose resembling a wild rose in structure (Heart of the rose, open) . as i say i have never seen a rose structured like this one.
one more clue i can add, it came from Germany:cool: music

Hi Wiseoldowl. I have been doing a bit of Research Myself ,i Have Found the name of the rose:D.
i was correct in my post saying it was German. the rose allegedly by A. Meilland, Kletterrosen,Dornenlose rose (Smooth Velvet) i have been on line on a German site (not that i can speak a word of German)
but photo's are all the same:cool:. The rose looks rather impressive when fully established. the rose that i have looks impressive in its first year, so here's hoping it looks like their advert in years to come.:gnthb:.
    music:cool:.

But "Mystery Wonder" isn't a mixture of the two colours as in above roses, some of the roses are solid pink and others are solid white!!!! REALLY strange one!!!
