Would have posted this on tuesday but photobucket was down.

The grockles have gone so Willow & I got our bums down to Lyme Regis.

We were into the fish within a minute of trolling, bit difficult to get a good pic while it was all going on though.

Although legal, a lot of the fish were smaller than I would have taken for the table, Willow & I shook a lot of the smaller ones off the hook but others on the boat were keeping what I would consider ones to return.

The skipper shared out the catch between us at the end. I got to steer the boat back into the harbour while he was sorting it out.

Even a bad days fishing, is better than a good day at work.

I normally go out of Weymouth, but I may have to look to Lyme Regis, it looks good.

      Cheers, Tony.

You need footware you can kick off if you go into the sea. My mate's Grandad drowned because he couldn't kick his wellies off. They filled with water & dragged him under.

The sea is like that, needs respect, but don't let that put you off my friend. We've had some lovely times out on the boats.

              Hiya Zigs.

A few of us (including my Mrs) went out from Exmouth a few years back, for a couple of hours. Caught a few fish (mostly Mackerel), but the wife spent most of the time on 'Gods telephone'

              :eeew:

                Wotcha Freddy,

Oh, that was you and Mrs Freddy was it. Very expensive trip out of Exmouth, had to buy Barney & Willow warm coats first, £65 for the 2 of them, then the bait & boat costs, all for 2 dog fish.

The kids refused to wear the coats again as they were matching & they didn't want to look like each other:doh: Only a year between them but a million mile gap.
