It really makes you think doesn't it? Those pictures look quite old too. Probably even worse now.

Another thing, just look through those pics and see who's the worst for amounts of food packaging.

I really hate it when Councils suggest rewarding those who recycle loads of packaging, because that'll mean those who produce/grow loads of their own stuff/buy loose fruit & veg/home bake/re-use bags/etc. will have to subsidise those who buy trolley loads of heavily packaged stuff and chuck all that packaging away every week.

Is looks quite old, the photos certainly look dated, interesting though. That British family's food looks absolutely the picture of a balanced healthy diet compared to some (actually many) cartloads of food I see at the supermarket chock full of cut white bread, supernoodles, cakes, crisps, biscuits, chocolates, more cakes, ready meals, tinned spammy stuff, chicken nuggety things, mega pack of Fosters, 25l of coke, frozen chips and to balance things a big bag of spuds, bag of carrots and some frozen peas :runforhills::snork:

Said on the Radio that 15% of all Coke consumed in the USA is drunk at breakfast time.

Looking at those photos, I'd like to live in Mexico but without the Coca Cola. How do the Aussies put away those slabs of meat???

Am I alone in feeling offensively smug when I compare it with my little basket filled with fresh produce, wholemeal bread, probiotic yogurt and single estate coffee? Sounds like I'm not!
