Adenium obesum (Desert Rose)

A surprise yesterday ... two of them Pinky and Anouk have developed seed pods, and noticed today that both Red ones have pods developing also.



I don't want to sow the seeds but am delighted I have treated them well enough to produce. A coule have their second flush of flowers coming too.

 

The Yellow one I got end of June has its second set off blooms and a seed pod. I have five with pods now but I don't plan on using the seeds ... I have enough to tend to as it is ...

 

They have gone into The Baffa for the Winter ...

 

I love the stems of these plants, I think I like them better than the flowers ... I don't know why but I love plants with thick stems !
The Baffa looks a nice place to relax @Victoria ...

 

And sleep it off.

 

I like the thick caudex ones more than the thin/tall or arms/legs ones.

 

It is quite comfortable .. with bar in the corner and French doors to lower Patio ... also
a/c and heat ...
.

 

It is that time I think when they go out into the fresh air ... so I had T'Other Half bring the small ones out. I think a couple may not survive ...


I will have him bring the big ones out tomorrow.

 

Got the big ones denuded and out this morning ...
