I hope this doesn't break any rules but I'm wondering if forum members can recommend to me:

    a) fast growing colourful climbers and ground cover

    b) budget, but reliable, on-line suppliers for bulbs, seeds, plugs, etc; also compost and topsoil in bulk

    TIA

honeysuckle, jasmine (make sure its a fast climbing one though - some are super slow) most clematis & passion flowers :-) for the climbers. I also really like sollya hetrophelia - sp? (climbing bluebell) but I've tried to grow it two years in a row and its lovely over the summer and autumn, then dies in the winter :-( have given up with it :-(

No idea on ground cover but someone with much more knowledge than me will not doubt advise you :-)
