Agapanthus best white

    The name Agapanthus comes from the Greek agap, meaning love, and anthos, meaning flower, translating broadly as the flower of love.


    Morning All,

    Needing a white variety of agapanthus, but so many to choose from ...

    Any recomendations would be handy

    I have this one. Agapanthus praecox albiflora

    Had it 10 years or so clumped up quite nicely without trying to take over. It only gets morning sun so rather lopsided and it's in fairly heavy soil.

      I have a white one called white superior , its nice and flowers but the stems tend to flop to much for me.

      I like Queen Mum not all white but one I've eyed up for myself or a gift ( gift to myself more like :biggrin: )

        Its a fab variety queen mum its a Bicoloured flowers I had simialr called Enigma lost that in the winter of 2012 , thanks for the tip about "White superior"
