Hi we have just bought one of the above items and wondered if you wanted for alexa to control several items would you need a smart plug for each item..
Or can you put smart plug in wall socket and extension lead with several items in extension.. What would happen??
Thanks for the help and advice

The smart plugs can be used to control an extension lead with a number of pieces of kit plugged into it. There is a max amps on the smart plug - each make is different - so check out amps before you purchase - so that your are not drawing too much current through the smart plug.

My top tip for smart plugs - get ones without led lights on the switch - the leds are very bright - so no good where you need it to be dark - eg. in the bedroom or watching a projector.

Thanks for the reply so if I use a smart plug in the wall socket then use extension and put things into the extension.. Alexa won't switch all on at once?? Just a thought.

      Thanks

If they're all plugged into the same smart plug they will come on at the same time.
