    Just watched this with Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowka, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, et al, and it was fantastic.

    I am a lover of all things magical and have the compendium coffee-table books of Wind in the Willows and Winnie the Pooh ... I'll always be a child at heart. :heehee:

    Of course, I also love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, but my true love of reading is still in criminology and forensics ... :biggrin:

      If you like 'magical fantasy', but maybe also satire, you might like Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. From what I can gather, they are all inspired by, and blatantly mock real historical events but in a fantasy setting, and there's magic in there too.
