I bought a Euonymus fortunei which I loved but - and I know I'm being overly paranoid - found out this is toxic to my cat if eaten. So before I planted it I have it away.

I wondered, can anyone recommend other low growing small shrubs that are similar, with light or variegated leaves? I want something to contrast with lots of dark green shrubs and trees around our garden. Thanks :D

I know it's a worry Jack but i'm certain your Cat wouldn't attempt to eat the Euonymus:dbgrtmb:....

They're very clever creatures:cat-kittyandsmiley:....try not to worry too much because if you think of it this way...your cat may well have a wander into neighbouring gardens which are probably full of potentially 'poisonous' plants and still come home to tell the tale:dbgrtmb:

A good plant your puss would love is Nepeta aka 'Cat mint' it will roll around in it for hours...mine loved it....:dbgrtmb:
