Utterly brilliant! I wish that more street artists would be able to ply their trade in some run down areas where all you see is graffiti (and not of the attractive kind).

His other artwork is stunning too!

saw this on insta and its nice. I love the wings and i do love a bit of street art

people don't realise how precious bees are esp in inner cities. My mates questioned why i would have a bee and bug hotel in my garden next to my raised beds and i had to explain that if i want a good harvest of crops i need bees and hoverflies to pollinate and then need ladybirds and lacewings to act as natures pest control

it seriously needs to be promoted more and hopefully through this medium it will reach people who have never even consider their importance before

Totally agree, people just don't think about the importance of the things around them. It's the same as the decline in hedgehogs, most people it seems like hedgehogs and yet they kill all the slugs and snails which are so important to a hedgehogs diet, they then put out a dish of dog food to feed the hedgehogs???? Sorry, but I don't think a dish of 'processed' canned dog food is quite the same to a hedgehog as a nice big juicy slug!!

                    totally @Val..

Once all my planting is more developed and established I am planning to get some hedgehog houses and frog and toad homes to hide within the planting to try and encourage them into the garden to eat all the slugs

I would much rather have as much of a balanced eco system in my garden doing all the hard work and thriving than do it myself lol

There is a local hedgehog rescue and i would love to have them release some hedgehogs in my garden but they only do it it completely closed gardens and I have a massive hedge and then do does next door and the garden after that and so on. So no recuse hedgehogs for me just going to have to hope there is some somewhere near by that will want to take up residence in my nature houses once they are in the garden.

@Dips Can you not put some small mesh wire at the bottom of your hedges? Awww, hedgehog rescue, how lovely. Where I used to live in Surrey we had hedgehogs there they were always wandering around at night, our dogs didn't know what to make of them!! :heehee:

ah i wish @Val.. it wouldn't last long with the cat traffic lol and would make weeding harder lol

here is the local rescue http://www.happyhogsrescue.org.uk/

you know i have never seen a hedgehog alive in person in 28 years of my life. I have only seen one dead one as well.

I think that is quite telling
