The Pink Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is ahead of the others with plenty of buds.

After the unexpected blessing of rain, everything is so fresh and vibrant (mostly green here) but I was delighted to see the Yellow Beloperone guttata (Justicia brandegeeana) Shrimp Plant is really taking off ... next to my beautiful Pink Hibiscus.

Thank you Michael. There are still months of work to go and T'other Half has said the interior ceiling will be a Winter project.

Guy coming tomorrow afternoon to replace our kitchen door screen (he made it years ago) and install screens in the bathroom windows. In pic below, right horizontal is main bathroom, left vertical is en-suite to guest room/office. In old cottages here bathroom windows are small. It was one humongous bathroom we had made into two in 2007. He now does windows too. Window to right is lounge.

                  Casadee1 21 Jul.jpg
This is where house bends and the blank wall is kitchen/dining with window only onto The Courtyard. Lounge window now to the left. The lane is ours.

Denny, man who did our screens in 2009 is here now repairing kitchen door screen and installing bathroom screens. He will then measure and quote for the new Baffa/Garden Room windows. Builder's man is also coming to quote this afternoon.

T'other Half has been working on The Courtyard side and has installed green plastic trellis on window and got the Pandorea jasminoides sort of attached.

                      Change of plan ...
I had T'other Half move all my Brugmanias (4) from The Courtyard Hothouse to the Dancefloor Patio in front of the house as it gets some shade there. This one I got from Spain as a 10-12cm cutting with root in late February and it has romped away and seems to have developed lots of stems.

Changes in The Courtyard. We are getting there but still lots to do.

Trellis to the orchard up but not permanently as the window folk will need to hop over the stone wall when they install the new windows.
