      Jasper Carrot .... Legend
Thanks for the reminder Joolz made me laugh!
I once stuck the spade in the garden and came up with a mole sat on the spade. Poor thing sat there blinking whilst my fellow gardener was telling me to hit it on the head. Being of a sensitive nature I couldn't harm it, so popped it on a mole hill in the field behind us.
Think the news of the reprieve must have spread on mole news as we never again had any mole disturbance in the garden:scratch:

Wow! I know I've saved a couple from the clutches of my cat Luna, and I've put them in a field behind the garden.. Wonder if the same will happen to me.. I am mole hill free atm! :fingers crossed:

Thanks for that little classic @Joolz :blue thumb: Always did love Jasper Carrotts dry humour. Loved "The Detectives" series he did with Robert Powell.......................

.....and the book A little Zit on the side ...made a daft mistake of buying it at a station and starting to read it on the train. Looked a right idiot trying to stifle laughter with tears pouring down my face!
