Hi, these are growing very happily in my garden. They seem to have withstood the frosts and respond really well to sunlight and moderate watering. What should I do once they start dying down? Are they annual or perennial? I am sorry that I cannot provide a photo as this website never accepts the jpegs.
    Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Simon,
they grow from little corms. Leave them where they are when they die off and they will appear every year, they form nice little clumps.
