Another puppy

It's no secret I want another Border Collie puppy, My girl Tess will be 14y/o next month and whilst her mind is willing and like me, not as able as she/we were/was. I love Border Collies but Carol says NO more....... I'm trying to bribe her!

We’re in a similar position, @Vince ....

Our Izzy is nearly 12 1/2 years, and is definitely slowing down. But we plan to wait until she has left us, before getting another puppy. Training a puppy whilst looking after an oldie is not easy! Been there, done that, and have the grey hairs to prove it!!

 

We wouldn't take on a puppy. They are too destructive. Our eldest dog is 13. We are hoping there are a few good years in him yet. Our other dog who is 6 would miss him if he wasn't here.

I am versed in dog training (part of my work) and if I can train a new pup up to the level of my 1st Collie, Bracken, well, crufts, here we come ! Tess is a star too..... I trained her also retired her.

I'm tempted! think our current dogs have been reading this as they've all been EXTRA loving today, not that I would replace any of them........ where can I hide 14 Border Collies?
