Any idea?

    Mr.fiz brought me this today.Aparrantly it`s flowered already but the kids have pulled them off. [​IMG]

    It`s about 3ft and looks pretty healthy.

    Thank`s Kedi.I`ve just had a quick google and there seems to be different kinds.Some have great big flowers like a chrysanth and some flowers looked like dahlias to me?I will have to have a propper look later.Thanks again. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    There are loads of varieties and colours- I don't think there's any way of telling until it flowers again next year- unless someone knows otherwise!

    Could well be a paeony. If so then when you plant it, the top of the tuberous root should be no more than an inch below soil level, in fact some of ours are above the soil. The buds need a period of cold ripening, if they are to change from leaf buds to flower buds. This is the main reason why people have trouble getting them to flower.

    I may have a walk to the gentlemans house to find out whats what.Mr.fiz brought it home in a pot so i imagine thats where its been for a while.
