Any ideas.

Its taking over my mates little border in his back yard....he's lived there since 2003 and says he has never seen it before? Looks like some kind of ground cover to me...but:confused:

That's Parietaria diffusa, very very common in Italy.

 

Very common weed on the isle of wight grows mostly in the cracks in damp walls hence the common name Pellitory-of-the-Wall:thumb:

I think its pretty, I'd much rather have that growing inbetween the slabs than grass and stingers
