Any specialist nurseries along M1 and from Coventry to Derby please

    Going on holiday to Coventry area and Derby. I will visit Ashwood Nurseries, but are there any more good gardening centres or specialist nurseries along the way please? I will travel from Essex to Derby

    What sort of nurseries alp? Do you like cottage garden type stuff or just general ?

    It could be big and good gardening centres or nurseries specialising in one type of plants. I remember visiting this orchid nursery in the west country .. really nice. Or general nurseries. It doesn't matter it is part of a chain as long as it is big and well-stocked.

    Hi alp, I hope you don't mind me saying this but do you realise that Ashwood Nurseries are around a 90 mile round trip from Coventry.

    That's even further Lol
    Around a 125 mile round trip.

    Ashwood are around 10 miles west of Dudley on the Staffordshire /Shropshire border.

    @KFF Haha! That's nothing! We travelled from Cardiff to North Wales. Was thinking of whether to go to Biddulph Grange again. That's the madness of those who love NT properties.
