Hello to everyone, I'm not much a gardener so looking for some advice.

I have a bit of a dead spot in the back of the garden next to the shed. It's in complete shade on the ground due to the she being there.

I've planted an apple tree there in the Hope that once it grows around a meter or so it will get plenty of light as the sun falls over the shed. Will the tree make this growth in shade?

Good afternoon @Richard86 I am by no means an expert but I do know that apples do tolerate shade providing they receive half a day’s sunshine in the growing season. Culinary varieties need less sunshine than dessert varieties.Hope this helps:smile:
