    :flag:Hello from Central Italy,
Yes, I know the climate's different here, but the plant's the same I think!
My Apricot treee, which must be about 10 yrs old, flowered magnificently and the new upright branches are full of apricots. But now I can see that there are only sporadic leaves on them, and on most of the old branches, even the very small ones, the blooms have died, but there are no leaves to replace them. It had some of that 'gum' last year, and was sprayed once, but I don't know what with. This year it has still got some and, up to now, I haven't had it sprayed. There don't seem to be cracks on the branches and I can't see signs of insects.
Thanks for anyone really competent can give me.
    Worzel

I've never grown apricots, but I have a feeling they are very similar to peaches regarding problems and growing conditions.
I've also seen that gum on peaches, but usually along with cracks in the bark.

cant help much I'm afraid, but hope someone can.

Can't help too much:scratch: I've grown them twice (in containers). Both time they lived for 3 yrs and then started oozing sap and died. Tried "Googling" it with no answers. I think it's dead, sorry mate.

Id say the sap is probably a sign of bacterial canker, can you post some pics.
