AS A HELP WHEN YOU JOIN

Hi, and welcome to Gardeners Corner. You'll find it a very friendly and helpful Forum and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. To help members to answer any questions about your garden or gardening it will help if you could:

[a] In your personal details put the general area where you live.

In your introductory post if you tell us what direction your front/back garden faces, North, South, East or West? The kind of soil you have in the garden, Stony, sandy, clay, loamy?

[c] What kind of gardening you're interested in. Any ambitions and plans you have for your garden.

[d] If you could post any pictures of your garden that would be a great help.

It doesn't matter how inexperienced or experienced a gardener you are, I think you'll find that there is something here for you and you will find that you will be made most welcome.

Whenever you want to draw the attention of any other member (including staff) to a thread or a post, all you have to do is put the @ symbol in front of their username, as @wiseowl has done above. This will send an alert to the person (or persons) you have mentioned (or tagged, as it is sometimes called).



To see your alerts, simply hover your mouse pointer over the word alerts and a list will drop down showing you all the alerts you haven't yet seen - if you click on the blue text of the thread name in the list, you will be taken to the post/thread that you have been mentioned in.
