August 2006 Photo Competition VOTES

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the highest points wins. NO VOTES FOR 2 1ST PLACES ETC

    3. Votes should be cast within three days after this thread starting. (cut off 23:59 on 3/9/06)

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.



    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next competition, which I will start when the voting finishes. So put your thinking caps on incase you are the winner ;)


    Good luck in making a decision, there are some real cracking pictures this month :cool:

    This was the hardest yet to vote on. Had a short-list of 10!!! Fantastic pics by all - was really difficult to choose just 3. Here goes:

    1. Suedobie - phalaenopsis
    2. Juliet - Gertrude Jekyll
    3. Bananaman - Pink Power

    (Marge - your marigold was a very close fourth, really good pic)
    Better submit before I change my mind -again!!

    3. My aster - roders

    Also loved frans peace rose, alas we can only choose three.

    Impossible task, but I have gone for the three that I like best and that score well for colour, composition and sharpness

    1st - Marge's Fuschia. Great composition
    2nd - Fran's Iris. So sharp
    3rd - Frogesque's Chocolate Cosmos. Yummy!
