I'll try to remember to watch it tomorrow after I've been to sleep.

But from the description in the link, I guess it's further proof that monkeys have similar complex thought and emotions to us. It always surprises me that this surprises some people, because anyone who has ever spent time with any animal already knows that animals are more than just 'animals', and monkeys, well we're just monkeys. We're just a kind of monkey that is marginally better adapted to our environment. For now.

It didn't upset me C, I've seen similar behaviour on wildlife programmes in the past, the technology and life like animals is fantastic,

I would love to be around in 50/100 yrs time unfortunately that's not going happen, our/my great/grandkids should be though :), well worth a watch :).

I assumed as much. I wasn't having a dig at you when I remarked about some people being surprised. I was generalising. The makers of the TV programme clearly thought it would surprise a lot of people, otherwise they'd have cut it to make room for other stuff. And they'd be right. There are still a lot of people that genuinely believe that animals are simply stupid.

I caught a part of it (will watch the whole thing when I have time) and it was amazing filming. I first saw the robot animal cameras the night before featured on The One Show so I knew what to expect.

            Captivating viewing :dbgrtmb:
