As you may have heard on the news, Ryanair are having a spot of trouble.

They limited holiday leave for pilots to a bare minimum during the peak summer period. This is quite understandable, but they have made an enormous error in administration by not controlling their alternative dates. So a large proportion of their pilots have booked their holidays in a short period of time - not to mention the rumours that Norwegian Air have poached some of them. I said, not to mention them!!! :th scifD36: :nonofinger:

For the next six weeks they shall be cancelling 50 flights per day. So if you are booked to fly with them you need to make sure you're not affected. They say that tonight they shall be emailing all affected passengers but I would be inclined to check their website (supposed to post all cancelled flights on there) and check directly with them.

If your flight is cancelled you're entitled not only to your money back (or another replacement flight) but to compensation ranging from 125 - 600 Euros. So make sure you claim. :blue thumb:

Here's some official info for you.

Claim compensation if your flight's delayed or cancelled

They're expecting it to cost them up to 20 million pounds :hate-shocked:

Hopefully more than that , it may curb some of Michael O'leary's smugness.
Only flown with Ryanair once , they do treat all their customers equally , like scum !

I see another 18,000 flights have been cancelled, with disruption expected to last into the new year.

Not sure I believe this story about pilots and unscheduled leave.

you pays your money and you takes your choice.

Not flown in years, but Ryanair always sounded like a bunch of cowboys to me.

I'm coming over to the UK (ha! that's a joke for a start) next week. €9.79 courtesy of Mr O'Leary. Not been cancelled yet. It'll cost more than the air fare in diesel and parking fees.
OK, so he's not the most loveable bloke on the planet but you really can't argue with the economics of the service he provides for the impoverished amongst us :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Well you can't beat €9.79 for a flight.
I think this YouTube by Fascinating Aida has been posted before , but it's still funny :snorky:

O'Leary when he was a builder, of sorts.
