As opposed to the named varieties, if I let them go to seed will they come 'true' and identical to the parent plants or will I need to take cuttings. I am hoping to get quite a collection and just let them seed themselves but now I'm wondering if this will work??

I have now found the answer to this, so if anyone is interested the answer is no the seeds will not necesarily be identical to the parent plant as they could easily have cross polinated, I would have to take cuttings!! Oh well, will give me something to do early in the year before the weather improves!!
