Hello peeps, Always had a fascination with bees and think they're amazing. With the bee population struggling I thought I'd give beekeeping a go....so doing some research before I dive in... Just wondering if anyone else on here keeps bees in their garden and could offer some advice? Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Hi Snorky I think most of the info is on the thread have a good read , any questions I will try my best to answer. Spruce Its a bit late in the year to start but best to attend classes over the winter which most Bee Societies have
Thanks Spruce, bee-n working my way through the thread (there's a lot of reading to be done)! Was thinking of joining Fleet beekeepers society where u can study also. But before I went I wondered if it was ok to keep bees in your own garden? Or do most people keep them elsewhere? Wondered whether some neighbours are ever awkward about having hives close by. Also-how much time do you have to dedicate to beekeeping-I'm quite a busy person with my work so don't have lots of spare time? Any advice much appreciated! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
