Hey guys. I've got some begonias that flowered really well last year. They come up again this year in my hanging baskets. I didn't think they come back for a second year. Anyway they have no flowers on them just leaves. Will they flower again or shall I pull them out? Any advice would be much appreciated. [IMG][IMG]

Feed with tomato feed, see if they flower.

Begonias can come back every year . Normally you store the Begonia tuber away from frost, over the winter. Then again they can be slugish sometimes to start , I have a few non movers ! As simon says tomato feed , and if you can move them to a warm sheltered spot out off the wind, not in full sun if possible , for the rest of this month - they may take off !

Thanks for the responses guys. I've looked through the leaves an think I can see a few flowers slightly emerging :). Shall I split them up as there seems like a lot in one basket?

I'd leave them alone now, apart from the feeding, they will look better packed in.

            Hi Mania,

            Welcome to Gardeners Corner :)

I think they look great as they are. They're nice bushy plants and should fill the baskets in no time.

Please keep us informed with plenty of pics :)

I'd be surprised if they didn't flower. Just a bit late I reckon.

I hope that means they'll flower for longer :). I'm sure begonias flower until September anyway don't they?
Thanks for all the welcomes :) I'll be sure to upload some pictures. I'm new to the forum so will probably post things in the wrong section so I'll apologise now. Lol.

I've got some really lovely poppies in the garden. They're the size of a fist lol. I've taken some pictures of them if anyone wants to see? There's bees on them every morning when I look outside. They only last a couple of days though, but they're beautiful all the same. And if the bees love them then the two days of worth it.

Just a quick update guys. Here my begonias now. They're starting to flower after the initial panick I had. [IMG][IMG][IMG]. Shall I split them up now or leave them? They look quite crowded in the hanging basket.
