Berries gone

    Last week my Holly tree was laden with berries...

    not any more!:dh:Four Blackbirds and a Thrush have spent the last few days stripping it bare.

    I rather like having sprigs around the kitchen for Xmas.:)

    We have a flock of about 20 - 30 Redwings eating ours at the moment.:D

    no, really, I bet they enjoyed the berries and after all, the berries are there for them more so then for anyone else.

    I'd just love to have a holly in the garden.

    Take heart, I`m sure there will be lots of baby hollys next spring that would thank you if they could.
