Best Free PC Remote Access program ..?

Hi,

We have a PC camera security system but now need to allow it to be remotely accessed by us and other family members .( no key personal info kept on this pc )

The camera program does come with its own remote access program, but with it being from c. 2004 and now totally obselete, doubt if it would be very safe in todays systems.

Though never used one, could not see why a modern simple remote access program could not be used instead.

Seems there are lots of free ones out there but no idea which are the better ones for our simple task of viewing the screen with the cameras pictures. eg below. not ours

Anyone used them and can suggest ones worth a try ?

If that screenshot is as you see when you log in in the pc then you probably already have a suitable remote but it would be good to know more about the pc. Does it run Windows? What version? Do you require that multiple people can log in at the same time and watch the cameras or are you happy enough to kick each other out?

Thanks for the reply, though things have changed since that post and we no longer need such connections, mainly as we are moving the cameras off the PC onto a dedicated DVR box which has all the modern bells and whistles, when we can get around to understanding them all
