    Lovely morning :)

Quick question please. Small unheated greenhouse, door faces north. Slightly larger unheated greenhouse soon to be erected will also have the door facing north. Is it silly to put the (yet to be made) cold frame in between them, with the slope facing north also?

As all are unheated, is it just the proximity to the ground that the cold frame has its use for compared to plants in the greenhouse?

Thank you and have a lovely day in the garden.

If I had room/money for a nice greenhouse I wouldn't bother about a cold frame. My frame faces south with the garage at its back.

      My cold frame slopes south.
You catch more winter sunshine that way.
